About
A2 Audio is a working notebook from home audio and home-theatre integration: room measurements, calibration passes, acoustic treatment and the equipment decisions that follow from them.
Everything here comes out of installed systems. A room is measured before anything is specified, and the write-up keeps the numbers that mattered along with the constraints that could not be changed — a seat that had to stay against the back wall, a ceiling that could not be touched, a budget that ruled out the obvious answer.
The notes are deliberately specific. Sweep plots, filter settings, delay and level values, impedance curves where they changed a decision. Generic advice about speaker placement is easy to find and rarely survives a real floor plan, so what gets recorded here is what happened in one room with its own problems.
No equipment is accepted in exchange for coverage and nothing here is sponsored. When something performed badly it is written down as such, because the point of keeping these notes is to avoid repeating the same diagnosis in the next room.
